give the gift of
educational freedom

The Hive Method Foundation
is a faith-based nonprofit organization that equips families and educators with a proven framework to create homeschool pods that last.

for faith.
for families.
for the next generation.

We know it’s not easy to step away from the traditional education system, but we believe God designed families and teachers for this work—and we’re here to make it possible. With every new pod, we see a community of courage rising up—parents protecting their children, teachers rediscovering their calling, and families choosing faith and freedom over fear.

“As the family goes, so goes the nation, and so goes the whole world in which we live.”

St. John Paul II

what exactly
is a pod?

it’s a small group of families who come together to educate their children in community and split the cost of an educator.

Pods are flexible. They’re personal. They’re grounded in strong academics, and designed to foster creativity, critical thinking and connection. Think of it as the best parts of school {structure, socialization, accountability} without the broken system.

The change from shy and negative self talk to confidence and pride. The shift in my husband thinking it’s a phase that will pass, to assumption that this is how we will always do ‘school.’ Now there is peace in our day to day. It’s the way it should’ve always been.

If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be homeschooling my kids,
I would’ve laughed.

Everything changed in 2020

When the world shut down, life slowed down. My kids were home, and I got this little glimpse of what it felt like to really be with them. Something in me shifted. I thought, this is what I want…

more time.
more connection.
more family.

I had so many questions…

what curriculum is safe?
how do I even do this?
how do I not lose my mind?

I started trying different ways of homeschooling
just to keep from giving up. That’s when I gathered a few other families and we split the cost of an educator.

At the time, it felt like survival. But looking back, it was the very beginning of something bigger...the first seed of what would later become The Hive Method Foundation.

how it works

01 pod creator

the visionary who creates an ideal learning environment for their child and gathers like-minded families and an educator with the same goals

01 educator

the cultivator who carries out the pod creator’s vision with an emphasis on each child’s character and individual strengths

08 families

the community that becomes the village to lean on, learn from and grow with—who split the cost of the educator

I felt lost when trying to find what to do for my daughter. We were welcomed into a pod in Fallbrook and it was the best thing that could have happened for us! My daughter loved her pod and grew tremendously over just a few months! We are so excited to continue with this knowing that she will still learn without the pressure of the schooling system.

let’s be honest.
the education system is
broken.

Parents today are exhausted. They send their kids to school hoping for safety and rigorous learning, but what comes home tells a different story.

Kids falling behind, facing pressure that clashes with family values, and even being exposed to conversations parents never consented to.

It’s not just grades—it’s their hearts. Children are anxious, overwhelmed, and losing their spark. Parents feel the weight too…

isolated, unsure where to turn, and carrying the burden alone.

72%

of parents are dissatisfied with the academic instruction being provided in traditional schools.

83%

of parents are concerned about the school environment (drugs, safety, negative peer pressure, etc.) as their main reason for homeschooling.

teachers are just as brokenhearted.

They entered the classroom with passion, but many are walking away.

The system piles on demands, crushes creativity, and leaves them burned out instead of inspired.

And the ones who suffer most? The kids. A one-size-fits-all system misses their uniqueness, dims their gifts, and fails to protect their innocence. Families struggle. Educators struggle. Children struggle.

90%

of teachers are feeling stressed and burned out.

50%

of teachers leave the profession within 5 years.

our values

Every pod may look different, but they’re rooted in the same foundational beliefs.

  • The Hive Method is rooted in biblical values. We believe strong, traditional families are the best foundation for children and crucial for a strong society.

  • We believe in the God-given rights of parents to direct their children’s upbringing and education. We stand for medical freedom and a pro-America approach to learning that honors faith, family, and liberty.

  • We were never meant to do this alone. We foster a culture of encouragement, partnership, and community—where families support one another and educators are trusted allies in both academic growth and character formation.

  • We believe the role of an educator is sacred. We honor our teachers with timely pay, open communication, and deep respect, recognizing their investment in shaping the next generation.

  • Our pods are intentionally small—no more than 10 students—to cultivate meaningful relationships, individualized support, and strong community ties between students, parents, and educators.

  • Pods meet up to 3 days per week, preserving the rhythm of home life and ensuring that the majority of a child’s formation happens where it matters most—in the home, with their family.

pods don’t grow in isolation. They grow in community that turns into a support system. That’s why we’ve designed a private app where families and educators can…

  • connect with members who share their values.

  • post and discover pod opportunities.

  • access courses, trainings, and resources.

  • join events, discussions, and conversations that keep them encouraged and equipped.

It’s more than support—it’s belonging. And it ensures families and educators never have to walk this journey alone.

no ads. no nonsense.
it’s purpose-driven and it’s FREE to join.

01. families + educators connect
